e-Edition Frequently Asked Questions

We’re excited to announce that the e-Edition is getting an update. To help with this transition, we have prepared some answers to frequently asked questions as well as highlights of some of the key changes.

You will access and log in to the e-Edition the same as you have been and you can still access it online or through our mobile app, and you will still receive the daily notification email.

For the best experience and to ensure all e-Edition features work properly, please make sure you’re using the most up-to-date version of your preferred web browser.

Navigation tool bar

Toolbar location

The first thing you will notice is that the tool bar has moved — it will now be at the bottom of the page instead of the top of the page. The tool bar is also less cluttered for easier feature access.

Home

On the far left, you will notice a new Home icon — this will take you back to see recent editions, supplements and special sections.

Sections

This will allow you to view the sections in the daily edition, and jump to any page quickly. Use the arrow keys on your keyboard or your mouse to scroll through the pages or use the navigation bar at the top to pick a section and then a page. The Sections menu has two filter options: Pages and Articles.

Pages allows you to jump to any page within the edition.
Articles gives you all the articles listed and you can quickly jump to any article and view it in a single article view.

Editions

Replaces the Archive that was previously found in Settings. By clicking Editions you can view past daily editions.

My Articles

This is where you can find any articles you have bookmarked to read later.

Zoom

You can Zoom in and out by clicking the magnifying glass on the tool bar, and you can save your Zoom settings for future visits.

Single page mode or double page mode

Adjust your newspaper layout to single or double page mode.

Print and Download

Print or download pages or the entire edition.

Bookmark

Save articles to read later (find them under My Articles to view).

Share a page with friends and family on social media or via email.

Settings

Find the Search feature, save your Article text size preference, save your Edition viewing settings or contact customer service from within Settings. You can also toggle to My Account to log in and out of the e-Edition.

General navigation

Turning the page

Use the Arrow buttons on the right and left sides of the screen. You can also navigate using the arrow keys on a keyboard and by swiping on a mobile device or tablet.

Single article

You can view any article in an easy-to-read format by clicking on it. This view allows you to read a single story, and you can choose to scroll through individual articles using the arrow buttons on the left and right of the screen or go back to the full paper view.

Close a Single Article

Use the X to close the single article view. This will take you back to your place in the newspaper.

Adjust text size of an article

Text adjustment is available with four font sizes. Change the text size size by clicking the large or small T to make it larger or smaller. You can also find this under Settings.
