
Wind Creek Bethlehem contributed to record tax revenue for Pennsylvania’s casinos in the 2024-25 fiscal year.
The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board reported Friday that the state’s 17 casinos, along with internet gaming, sports wagering and video gaming terminals, generated $6.3 billion, an 8% increase from the previous year.
Tax revenue was a record $2.79 billion, up from $2.54 billion in 2023-24.
Wind Creek once again led the way in table games, reporting that it made more than $248 million, a slight year-over-year decrease of 1.65%. The top five casinos on the list all reported drops. Second-place Parx Casino in Bucks County had revenue of $196.4 million, a 1.32% decrease.
For slots, Wind Creek again had the second-highest revenue at $281.8 million, a decrease of 0.88%. Parx Casino had the most revenue at $377.7 million, an increase of 0.19%.
Wind Creek was behind its peers in internet gaming and sports betting. It earned $18.1 million in iGaming, a decrease of 20.6%. Hollywood Casino at Penn National Racecourse in Dauphin County was tops at $935.8 million.
Wind Creek’s sports book brought in $489,195, down 54%. Mohegan Sun Lehigh Valley in Hanover Township, Lehigh County, had $1 million in revenue, a 23% drop over the prior year. Valley Forge Casino Resort in Montgomery County brought in $250.2 million.
